I've finally gotten some free time to get some blogging done. First on the agenda is the Second Amendment Bloggers Target Tour. Bullseye [NSFW] in Fort Liquordale, Florida kicked it off, passing the target to Billy Budd in Arizona. It made it's way to Little Rock, Arkansas where Circa Bellum sent it to me here in Anchorage, Alaska. Where does it head to next?
Details in the extended entry.
UPDATE: Bumped to keep thread at the top for a few days.
A photo contest, open to bloggers in 46 of the 50 states -- minus FL, AZ, AR, and AK. The goal is to pass the target around the Second Amendment loving side of the blogosphere.
The rules:
1. You gotta have a blog, and there's got to be at least a little pro-Second Amendment material on it.
2. Take your favorite gun related photo and send it to me [e-mail address below], post it on your own site and e-mail me a link, or you can leave a link in the comments.
3. Nothing R-rated will be accepted. Use good taste and good judgement. No photos of illegal activity will be accepted either. So if mafiadon.blogspot sends his favorite photo of him wackin' someone, he ain't gonna win. Likewise, if bankrobbers-r-us.mu.nu sends a still shot of the security camera from their latest heist, they're out also. That goes for the Zarkman, too.
4. The photo must be taken either by you, or of you. A photo of you and your favorite shotgun? Sounds good. A photo you took of your favorite handgun? Works for me. A photo you lifted off of someone else's site? Eh, not gonna cut it. The photo can be old or new, and it only has to have a pro-Second Amendment flavor to it. I'm not looking for Pulitzer Prize winners. Besides, anyone touting a winning Pulitzer for photography would probably end up disqualifying themselves for being anti-gun rights [or anti-civil rights, as the Insta-dude says].
5. Finally, the deadline is 2359 [that's 11:59pm] Alaskan Time on November 30th, 2005.
My e-mail address is tillerman19 -at- yahoo -dot- com. I'll be the judge and jury for the contest, although I'll solicit input from folks.
