This photo was taken at 0900 this morning. As you can see, the sun doesn't have a nine to five job here in Alaska during the winter.
In fairness, the sun does put in a ton of overtime in the summer. But so does everyone else. The days are long, and the weather is nice. I guess not even el sol wants to spend much time outdoors in December.
Here's something you don't hear everyday: the temperature rose by 35° the other day; it was still snowing.
It went up a few more degrees and now it's raining. Should make for an icy mess when it drops back below 20°F. Still, I'll enjoy the "heat wave" while it lasts.
