In an unrelated note, the Anchorage City Council announced a one cent tax on every alcoholic beverage sold at Chilkoot Charlie's for the next 60 days. The proceeds will be used to feed all of the starving children in the third world, fund the Global War on Terrorism, pay off the national debt, and buy Ted Kennedy (D-Gin Mill) a clue.
