To be honest, I once inflated my service record. Supermarket service record, that is. I claimed to have been junior assistant manager of a seafood section. In reality, I was deputy junior assistant manager. Might seem trivial to most, but those grocers take that stuff seriously.
The regret I feel for my actions is matched only by the scorn heaped on me by Piggly Wiggly employees across the Southeast. You might think it's overkill when I don a Groucho Marx disguise before heading out for a box of corn flakes. You've never met Big Mike from the produce section.
