A quick search of the NY Times revealed something interesting.
A search for Enron over the past 30 days. 41 results.
A search for Tongsun Park over the past 30 days. 1 result.
Of course, Kenneth Lay, the former CEO and chairman of Enron died this month. However, around a dozen of the articles, many admittedly only superficially refering to Enron and the scandal, were written before his death.
The one article on Tongsun Park was written by the Associated Press. In addition to that lone article, there is one editorial that references the Oil-for-Food scandal. I can't read it, since it's hidden behind the Times Select barrier. Safely hidden away, I doubt many folks can read it.
There were 15 results for Abu Ghraib in a search of the past 30 days. One result came back for both Enron and Abu Ghraib.
I leave it to other folks to compare the two financial scandals. For now, I'll just point you to Claudia Rosett. Or you can wait for the NY Times to cover it.
